Good moons and good stars traveler. May the wisdom of Our Lady
shine upon you, and welcome!
Your journey across the great void that separates our worlds has taken you to the gates of Silver Brooch, a vast depository of learning, ancient secrets and the collected wisdom of the world of Fälgorna. I pray your travels proved pleasant.
I am Zayix, first keeper of this Temple of Lilnana, goddess of knowledge, in Odbanwyll in the Kingdom of Eirbron, and I know why you visit. In our unceasing quest for universal truth, we, the priesthood of the goddess, have discovered the lore of our world has great value to those of your world who play a game known as Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Second Edition. We find no offense in this irony, rather we encourage you to use what you can and if the goddess inspires you contribute your own discoveries to the archive.
The clerical custodians of the archive have organized its contents to provide you with easy access to information which you can use for your AD&D game. Below Ive outlined the organization of the archives, but since new material finds its way to the shelves frequently you may wish to explore some of our most recent additions first.
At last, you can now see a map of Obdanwyll, the very town where Silver Brooch, the home of this archives, is located. Also be sure to read about the dwarves of the Hestlegartle Clan. While sorting through old scrolls in an unused wing of the archives I discovered a king's ransom of netbooks, stop by and see what I've found. Also, I recently expanded the new section on wizards, to include sea wizards, rhabdomancers and frost wizards. There's also several new pages of spells of the School of Sea Magic and the School of Rhabdomancy, please take a look now and come back later to see more. And, while your here, please be sure to read the latest issue of the Eirbrony Erudition, an e-zine filled with good stuff for your AD&D 2nd edition game. Included in this issue: Lorminstra, Queen of the Dead and her priesthood, "Meeting at Midnight," a short story, the witch kit for wizards and some great witch spells, plus more. Some of the newest additions to the library include: New poetry, new art by Jason Bovee, character portraits, psionic attack & defense cards, the Desert Zombie, an entire section on character background and special abilities that's sure to liven up your AD&D character, the Ice Roper (in the AD&D monster section), and Holy warriors (paladins) for all alignments.
