The goddess Lorminstra was inspired and based on a goddess of the same name which is found in the online game Gemstone III. The following deities are modifications of gods and goddesses which appear in Legends and Lore, by James M. Ward and Troy Denning, and published by TSR, Inc.: Cumhail is a modification of Ares; Dagda is a modification of Daghdha; Diancecht is a modified version; Ferro is a modification of the god Lugh; Freshis is a modification of Brigantia; Isla is a modified version of Forseti; Manannan is a modification of Manannan mac Lir; Math is a modification of Math Mathonwy; Metalis is a modification of Goibhniu; Morrighan is a modification of Morrigan; Oghma is a modified version. Solus is a merging of Pholtus from Greyhawk Adventures Boxed Set: From the Ashes: Atlas of the Flanaess, designed by Carl Sargent and published by TSR, Inc., and the god Belenus from Legends and Lore. The following deities are modifications of those found in Greyhawk Adventures Boxed Set: From the Ashes: Atlas of the Flanaess: Erus is a modification of Heironeous; Fandora is a modification of Ehlonna; Fharlanghn, Incabulos, Ralishaz, St. Cuthbert; Ulaa. The description of Iuz is based on a description found in The Temple of Elemental Evil, by Gary Gygax and Frank Menzter and published by TSR, Inc.
